BIBS Bridging Science and Society Platform

The BiPoLabs will assess the impact of different governance frameworks, policies and land use practices on biodiversity in specific landscapes, which will provide a unique opportunity to test and refine selected methods of predictions and forecasting. The planned activities will help to develop a transdisciplinary synthesis across biological, social and political sciences to provide evidence-based feedback for conservation policy and practice development.

For their spatial implementation in actual landscapes, the BiPoLabs will be closely aligned with the ScapeLabs.
